1st FIBA Asia U16 Championship for Men


The inaugural FIBA Asia Under-16 Championship for Men will be held in Johor Bahru, from 19 November till 27 November. A total of seventeen teams will be competing for the title, and teams finishing in the top two will have the opportunity to compete in the FIBA World Under-17 Championships, which will take place in Hamburg, Germany, from 2 July - 11 July 2010.
The seventeen teams have been divided into four groups. The teams will play preliminary round-robin group matches with the top two teams from each group advancing to the knock-out quarter-final stages.


第1屆亞洲16歲級青年男籃錦標賽將於11月19日至27日在馬來西亞柔佛新山市進行。本屆共有17隊參賽，預賽將分四組取前兩名晉級八強。本屆亞洲16歲級男籃錦標賽前二名，將可取得明年U17歲級世界青年籃球錦標賽參賽資格，世青男籃賽2010年7月2日至11日在德國漢堡舉辦。
